- Assistant Office Manager
Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Office Manager to join our automotive dealership. This role supports the Office Manager in overseeing daily office operations, dealership accounting functions, and compliance-related processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive dealership management, strong accounting knowledge, and hands-on experience with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and vehicle registration & titling.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including posting, reconciliation, and vendor payments
Handle and supervise automotive title work and vehicle registration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and lender requirements
Monitor contracts in transit, title status, and resolve title discrepancies
Assist with month-end closing, schedules, and financial reports
Support and supervise office staff; assist with training and workflow management
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, internal controls, and state regulations
Work closely with management, HR, and department heads to support dealership operations
Step in for the Office Manager as needed
