JOB SUMMARY
A highly visible certified law enforcement position in which the incumbent is responsible for patrolling an assigned area for the prevention of crime, protecting lives and property, apprehending and assisting in the prosecution of offenders, preserving the public peace, and enforcing various regulatory measures. NOTE
It is understood that every incidental duty connected with operations enumerated in job descriptions are not always specifically described and personnel, at the discretion of the Sheriff's Office may be required to perform duties not within their job descriptions. This position is eligible for an assigned agency vehicle.
