Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant Position Overview The Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant provides friendly, professional service to members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the golf shop. This position assists with sales, tee time coordination, merchandise presentation, inventory, and general customer service. Essential Responsibilities - Greet and assist members and guests in a welcoming manner. - Operate the point-of-sale system and process retail transactions accurately. - Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with tee time bookings. - Maintain an organized, clean, and well-presented golf shop. - Receive, display, and restock merchandise. - Assist with inventory counts and product organization. - Provide information about golf products, club policies, events, and services. - Support tournament and golf event operations as needed. - Assist with golf cart staging and other daily golf shop duties. - Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience Required
Prefer at least 1 year experience or attending a golf college.
Essential Responsibilities
- Previous golf, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. - Knowledge of golf and golf-related merchandise is helpful. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Professional appearance and positive attitude. - Basic computer and cash-handling skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
