Community Manager Job Responsibilities:
Above all else, applicants must have outstanding communication skills and make it a priority to get to know the residents and stay current with all issues to avoid surprises. We are looking for a highly proactive thinker to raise resident service levels to a new high.
Recommends courses of action for Board members to conduct business.
Provides management services in compliance with the terms of the management contract and the HOA guidelines set by the State of Florida.
Assists the Board and homeowners with problem resolution by having a proactive approach and staying abreast of the community issues before they flare up.
Provides fiscal management, including reviewing and approving invoices, coordinating tax preparation and reserve study updates, and reviewing completed financial statements for accuracy before distributing to the Board each month.
Conducts site reviews and provides oversight of related compliance matters.
Reviews and submits requests for vendor bids and contracted services.
Attends association meetings, including annual meetings, project meetings, and occasionally Club meetings, so the entire team stays on the same page.
Prepares Board packets, agendas, and calendars for scheduled and unscheduled meetings.
Communicates in-person, by telephone, or via email to Board members, homeowners, and vendors regarding community business promptly.
Maintains current knowledge of governing documents, applicable state statutes, and local ordinances that apply to each assigned community.
Shares after-hours emergency phone duties.

Work hours will vary depending on the time of year and planned resident events. 40 a week would be the minimum.
Community Manager Qualifications/Skills:
Strong leadership abilities and comfort with public speaking (small and large groups)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues
Conflict resolution skills
Superior multi-tasking skills
Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail
Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
CAM license required
At least three years of experience as a Florida HOA Manager in a gated community
Solid knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Strong knowledge of the State of Florida’s HOA guidelines
Knowledge of the Central Florida market is a plus.
Projected starting date: January 2026
Pay is dependent upon experience.
